Each therapy we offer is delivered by a qualified, accredited and experienced therapist.​

We use evidence-based approaches that are approved by medical governing bodies for use within the UK National Health Service. 

CBT
 
CBT is based on the idea that our thoughts and our behaviours influence the way we feel. If we feel anxious or depressed for example, we can change that by modifying the way we think and behave. CBT can help you do this in a targeted way, via established, evidence-based treatment models, that bring about positive changes rapidly. 

It's an effective treatment for a range of anxiety disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), depression, low self-esteem and body dysmporphia.


EMDR

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) is an evidence-based treatment for PTSD and other anxiety disorders, such as specific phobias. It helps you to process trauma by talking about what happened to you whilst engaging in side to side eye movements guided by your therapist. 

This may sound like a 'new wave', alternative therapy, but EMDR is approved for use in the treatment of trauma, but the World Health Organisation (WHO) and the UK National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE).


Counselling

Counselling offers you a free space to offload and process experiences, thoughts and feelings, with a qualified therapist, in a non-judgemental space. 

It's particularly useful for managing stressful situations, life events or significant changes, bereavement and identity issues. 


Couples counselling

Couples counselling can help you to improve communication in your relationship, better understand your partner, resolve conflict, negotiate getting your needs met in the relationship, and decide whether to continue or end a relationship.
